Lauren Holmes Portfolio

Photography has always interested me because it was a form of art that I could be good at since I'm a horrible drawer and painter. When I first took Photo 1, I wasn't sure if I would like it or not because I'd never tried anything like it and I prefer things in color. In the end I found I really enjoyed the class and the way the pictures I took looked in black and white. I really enjoy taking high-contrast pictures and really liked doing the different alternative processes. I also liked to try and make my pictures not completely abstract but not completely straightforward either.
